HEY GUYS ANYONE OUT THEIR IN BUICK LAND KNOW IF YOU CAN FIT A 28X11.5X15 M/T ET STREET ON A 7" CONVO PRO WITH 3 3/8 BACKSPACING WITH ALUMINUM DRUMS. WILL THERE BE A PROBLEM WITH THE FOOTPRINT(8.6" ACCORDING TO SUMMIT) OR WITH RUBBING ON THE FENDER OR THE INSIDE OF THE FRAME. I KNOW ALOT GUYS RUN THE 26X10.5X15 ON 7" RIMS WITH NO PROBLEMS AND ACCORDING TO SUMMIT THE 28'S ARE NOT MUCH WIDER(.3 OF AN INCH TO BE EXACT), JUST A LITTLE TALLER?

They should work OK. That is the same basic size as a 275/60 Tire and they work good on stock wheels (only a little frame rub)with 3.75" back spacing.

3 3/8" should rub the frame even less.

I just installed my 15x8.5 Convo Pro's with ET Streets 28-11.5, there is no frame rub. I will need to massage the inner fender lip a little to prevent a rub on the outside of the tire. Using 3.5 inch backspace and aluminum drums.

hey zero tolerance, are you running 3.42 gears? i am & im not sure if this tire is too large for the 7" rim or too large for the actual performance, expecting some low 11 sec passes. te 62 with 82 housing, 3500 converter, 210/205, ported heads, msd 50 lbs injectors, 2 walbro pumps, dutweiler front mount etc...... p.s. do i have to worry about speedo with the 28" tires(actuually 27.6" )? what are the problems encountered with the stock speedo on these tires?
