Made changes to Translator+, made it worse?

Went to the drags today, ran a 12.5 with a low O2 of 710 MV and got 3.1° retard. Turned the knob in the Translator + for the base fuel (richen 5%). Made another run and did a best ever of 12.2 (Alot better launch) but the O2's dropped to 680mv and got 5° retard. WHAT's the deal???

WOT fuel is adjusted with the WOT knob.

Wouldn't changing the base MAF effect the entire RPM range?

Not on a GN, the LS1 stuff works that way.

On a GN you set the base to match the MAF, and you have a rich idle and lean idle option.

For a 3.5" MAF you set the base to 0, or to 1 if you want the idle a little richer, or 2 if you want the idle leaner.
