MAF pipe advice

I have an air filter relocation kit on the car which places the air filter down behind the front bumper.
It uses a flexible hose from the MAF to the turbo.
It also includes a mounting "tower" to hold the MAF in place.
I'd like to get a solid MAF pipe. When you use them, what holds the MAF up?
Does the solid pipe support the MAF and air filter?
Would I be better off just mounting the filter directly to the MAF?
I had it this way once, and the AC lines rubbed on the K&N.

You should be able to use the same bracket depending on where the bracket locates it...On mine, the bracket mounts below the alternator and the MAF mounts to that.
