Is anyone relocating their Mafs to the tb side of their cars instead of in the maf pipe? Basically in the uppipe. And if so what benefits did you reap. I am going to try this today.

i did it it works great i had to have my chip reburnt to add 10% more fuel on top end because it flows so much more air.
you will need translator or plus, and lt1 or ls1 maf. the stock one will implode under that much pressure.

I,m sorry I forgot to mention that i already have the the plus translator. So all I will have to do is ADD A LITTLE MORE FUEL THRUTHE TRANS? Did you pick up a lot better driveability w/ the relocation of the maf into the up-pipe?

dang that looks awsome i wanna try that when i get my new maf in, would this be a good idea for a car that would be taken to the track, does anyone have any hp gains from it?
thanks

about3 tenths in the eighth.
i dont know about the 1/4 i had to let out because i ran out of fuel on top end.
