I need some help.
I finished wiring up the Tpro (Soldered) and powered up the unit. All was well and I entered Config mode. I started to set the parameters and got most of the way down when the screen went blank. I shut off the key, checked some wiring and powered up again, it did the same thing. I will recheck my wiring tomorrow to see if I messed up somewhere, but I was wondering if this glitch is indicating something that I messed up wiring wise. Anybody had a similar experience?

Also, I noticed on the quick setup GN page that pin 5 (Ground) on the 6-pin connector says that it is not used, but in the manual it is the ground for the IAT sensor. I did not tap into D12 for the ground, but hooked up the air temp input and output. (cut & spliced)
Could this be my problem?
FWIW I have wired things up so that I can switch between SD and MAF. I was going to run MAF mode on the first fire up.

While I’m at it… F-in mode? Not sure what to select, I’m currently running a 3” LT-1 MAF.

Thanks,
Paul

You will likely have better luck just runnig SD mode. Please post your step by step so we can see where is goes blank and figure out what you are doing

Mike,
I'm going to go over my wiring today, and then try setup again in SD mode.

Don't mean to hi-jack...

Mike, I got the boost control working with the external gate then.

pressure feed from solenoid to the side port, top port open.

I think the problem originally came from the BARO source in the setup page. In the v4.4 manual for quick start on a GN, it says to set it at 1. Bob had me change it to 0, but had also made a few other changes that hindered me finding that as the solution then. In Indy, Bob gave me his box that had the updated version on it that already had 0 or "sea level" for the baro source. Once I started from scratch with vacuum lines, it worked fine.

Ok update.
I checked all my wiring and all looks good. The unit still boots up but after around 20-30 seconds the screen goes blank. ???

Help !

It is very hard for us to do support on multiple boards. We usually do it at www.fullthrottletech.com Bob and I both look at that much more. I have not heard from him today. If it is going dead and you are sure it is still getting power. I would say send it to me so i can test it. I have never seen that one.
Mike

Sorry Mike, but there wasn't much traffic on the other board when I first posted.
I'm going to contact a local board member here who runs a Tro as well, and plug into his harness to see if it holds power to the screen.

I'll keep you posted.

Paul

Mike,
It does the same plugged into the other harness. I'll send it off to you.
