Main and rod bearing sizes

When running thru a fresh engine checking the mains and rods, what would happen if some of the clearences came out to be .002 instead of .0015? Is it possible to purchase bearings that would make up that slightly too large gap (able to purchase bearings in custom sizes?) so one could nail everything down to .0015?
