Marvel Mystery Oil for noisy lifters

I have intermittent noisy lifter tapping noise left side.I heard that someone used Marvel mystery oil to help eliminate lifter tapping noise.Has anyone tried it?Please let me know.I don`t really want to replace lifters again if I don`t have to.Thanks in advance

It may help but most of the time it will be a bad lifter or cam lobe. Why did you replace the lifters the first time? Good luck.

My motor was rebuilt approx. 8,000 miles ago.Speed Pro Cam using Crower Cam Saver lifters.2 days ago after cold startup has loud tapping noise and gets louder when accelerating and causing excessive knock retard when accelerate.Noise is from left valve cover area.I turn it off and restart it 45 min. later and no noise and drove home no problems.Some days has lifter noise at cold startup and some days no noise.Problem is intermittent.
Noise only last few seconds.

You better pull the cover and see what's up. Don't rely on a magic potion in a bottle to cure it. What's your oil press? Left side, meaning driverside?

I think you`re right.I`ll pull the valve cover off for a peace of mind.Thanks guys for your inputs.I`ll keep you guys posted.

Did you check the preload on the lifters. I don't like to see more than .045.
