Not sure if I got the right part. About 2/3's of the screen is covered by a piece of sheet metal and it seem to be about 3/4" shorter than the stock one.

It say on the invoiceSPE 224-138, the box has a large number that reads 20-IS4 in the center of the lable above the bar code. In the lower left corner there is yet another number, PC 601-1561, that looks like the part number in the lower right which is the same as the number on the invoice.

Thanks,

If it's not the same as the original, it's not the right piece. What's wrong with the original?

The pickup tube will work. By design though the strip of metal that runs across the screen area actually covers a hole in the screen just behind it. It is not fully screened, thus particles can be sucked right into the pump. GM still offers the original for about 17 to 20 dollars....IMO I would just buy the right one from a dealer or from one of the vendors on this site.....

Thanks guys!

I needed a pickup gasket and the parts man ordered the whole pickup screen. The original pick up just needs to be cleaned - I think I will just clean and then return to new part.
