got mickey thompson et street radials 275 50's and all i can say is its like getting launched from a sling shot this is 25ps of air on the street not heated they hook like mad no spin at a 7 psi launch cant wait for the bpg nationals
just getting started just rebuilt motor upgraded fuel and turbo and chrome 3" downpipe didnt run but i'm sure with the wick turned up it should crack 11'ns on 18 psi and stock turbo and 1300 stall convertor it ran 14.3 at 98 with a 2.5 60 foot and that was no spin just lag from convertor so money is the answer getting razors alky first.
Yeah they're pretty BAD (meaning good) with the new torque convertor & trans ive gotten 1.63 & 1.69 60fts --several 1.7s and plenty 1.8s. 5lb. footbrake launches, im gonna practice with the ebrake once i get my tunning a little closer to where i want it. my cars 3606lbs with me in it 3432lbs with me out. im still practicin with burnout techniques some days too much some not enough. & i think i need alot more tuning. Alky's comin this late fall... wish i could take off at 7lbs. on the street.
on the street i take off anywhere from -5 ot 0lbs boost launch on the back road ..stills feels good though beat a nova with a 454 with some serious work done to it on the back roads he's suppose to be coming for me later on. I'll be waitin once the alky's in... Im lookin to buy the new hoosier drag radials next i like the way they look, (ITSAV6) says if he found drag radials cutting 1.6 60ft times he wouldnt be looking for anyother brands that would be it. Im just wanting to experiment with the hoosiers though for knowing Next time sake im also at 25psi and no burnout on the back road.
thanks b. trying my best last night did a 10 psi launch and it spun 1 foot then grabbed like mad talk about planting you in the seat. just wish i could get this smoking issue solved
