IMHO do your self a favour and get the caspers adaptor harness for the pro unit
unless you like having a sore back for a week :)

I sent them email...

I sent them an email about it and did not receive a reply! Not sure whats going on with that. I guess I'll have to call them. For me it will depend on the price. If it's costly i'll just splice it in. My front clip is still off and my harness is easy to access at this point. I never minded wiring much. It is just time consuming, and winter is here so I got plently now!

That data logger seems to be a nice tuning tool...

I just really hate laptops.

Anyone here know if you could use it on a palm pilot or something smaller?

Yeah, im not very computer happy at the moment.

Great Idea

I talked to Mike today about the 'logger' and he siad it will send info right to the scan master. Lap-top hook ups are USB and will need Win 98 min. I was hoping win95 would work so i didn't have to buy a new lap-top.:frown: I never thought of the Palm Pilot! I have a nice m505 that runs xp. :D I don't see why they couldn't make it work. I have to call him in the morning and i'll ask him about it. I'll post about it Thursday!

Let us know what they say about the palm pilots, the DSM guys were using them years ago to read info off their cars.

Would be nice to use one, ebay, 30.00 - 50.00

Palm?

Talked to Mike about having info sent to a Palm Pilot, and he said nope! A few years back he made a set-up that did work with the palm Pilot, and people complained that they wanted to use the PC. So he decided to stay with the PC to keep peolpe happy. He said, he thought the palm would sell, but it just didn't.

Personally i would have loved to have a more compact piece. One that i did not have to lugg around with me. But as with any company, you have to supply what the public demands. Or you won't be in business long!

That's because their stuff is all OBDII. There's software galore out there to run OBDII connections into a palm pilot, or similar device.
