Original GM NOS front cover with a brand new GM oil filter adapter.

These covers have been modified just like my articles (and then some), all gaskets have been port matched, and the oil pump is also new. I set the side clearances to spec instead of using what came out of the box. Comes with all new gaskets, cam sensor O-ring, oil pump springs, and your choice of main seal. This cover is ready to install with no surprises. $300 + shipping.

Specify if you need a 20 or 14 bolt cover.

What are the differences between this cover and the Precision set up that is sold? Also, have these covers been modified to accept the Hyd Roller cam?

Precision Turbo sells a front cover? I couldn't find one on their website.

The main difference is that the cover isn't a GM unit. There are horror stories about the aftermarket covers not letting the cam sensor engage and ventelating the pressure feed when enlarging the oil passage to 1/2". The other problem I've discovered with the aftermarket covers is the oil pump cavity depth. The oil pump gears should protrude above the housing a few .001"s. All the other covers that I know of let the gears sit below flush. With that, you can't get the .001"~.002" end clearance the pump needs to do it's job correctly. Here is some reading on that.

The other main difference is the lack of a standard oil filter adapter. That setup is more geared to a dedicated drag car. I.E. external oil filter, cooler, AN lines, etc...

That site's pretty outdated too. They still list their T&D roller rockers for $454. So it's halfway safe to ASSuME that their price might be higher now on their setup.
