well crap just more problems. i instaled jims chip the other day and put went to put on my oil drain tube but the bracket that i made for it stoped me from puting on the front bolt so i had to drive to my grand dads thats about 60 miles from me to saw a bolt off and weld it. so i got the car back and i got every thing togeather and fixed a few small problems liked cracked vacume tubes. it was getting kind of late so i connected the ground wire and ran it with out the turbo brace. will it hurt the turbo or headers to run with out the brace for a short peroid of time?
i decided to take it for alittle drive to get used to it, ran like a top the whole way until i got out on a deserted part of this old highway at around 12 last night when i broke down. the car just went dead (im gussing cam sensor or coil pack) and i drifted to a stop in some old farts drive way who would not help me. i went up to his door and rang the door bell and the old coot cut off all his lights
the nearest place was 4 miles down the road. so i get down there and call my seniel grandmother to get woods phone number, only peopblem is theres a woods parts store, lube shop, 2 diffrent service centers, and a towing shop all unrelated so i had to write all the numbers on the side of a drink machine that was covered in pollin and run back and forth to call each number, the towing service was the last number by the way. the woman i got did not know where in the hell i was, even told her step by step instructions. she told me she would call the wrecker and get him to call us, then she told us not to go no where, like i had a place to go. by this time its raining and ive got to walk 4 more miles back to the car on a dark highway armed only with my maglight.
AS SOON as i get back to the gn a damned cop pulls up and askes me if i needed a tow why yes 3 hours ago maby. after another hour and a half the tow truck driver shows up and told us that he was sorry he was late because he stoped at a place to get something to eat ARRRRRRRRRRGH
when i got the car back to the garage i called my seniel grand mother to come and get me, only problem ive got her keys. no biggie shes got another set if she could remeber where she put them
i set there until daylight when i started hiken back to the house 15 miles away, found her setting in the buick with the keys in her hand asleep
errr, needless to say ive been a prick all day today.
my question is what could have caused the car to die and will it hurt any thing by not running that ugly old brace?

it was to dark and wet, other words it sliped my mind. i had it towed to my garage ill have who ever on staff to check it out but what sucks is my lark needs a tune up and my gns out of order so i aint got nothen to take to the show and paraid tomarow
