Are Turbo Buick motor mounts the same as a Monte SS?

the 3.8 uses frame perches and a rubber mount on the engine

the SB uses a rubber centered frame mount and a bracket on the engine

neither are interchangeable , but you can put the V6 perches on a monte frame to install a 3.8 as long as you get the 3.8 motor mounts

how about the buick 305 v8 mounts because energy suspension says its the same

i would answer you but im not sure what you are asking , clarify
besides there is no buick 305 V8 , its a chevy SB and it would be the same for the buick regal with a v8 as in the monte with a v8 ,
the 3.8 mounting is different than the v8

Do you mean the 307? I'm looking for poly mounts but I don't want to pay $210 for them.

I believe the only poly mounts youll find are the HR ones,THey are damn sweet though,No need for that frame strap anymore also,

if you are looking for polymounts for a v8 than no the HR wont work , there should be cheap poly mounts available for the v8s ,

if you are looking for the turbo than the HR is the best , unless your after tens you should only need the one driverside at 100 bucks ,
the single driverside and a 8.88 stock replacement passenger side from advance as been working just fine for me

The 307 in the G bodies was an Olds engine, not a Buick or a Chevy, so trying to match up the engine mounts for the V8s to the V6s is not going to get you in the right ballpark. Stock type mounts for the V6 are easy to find, and pretty cheap, too, unless you really want the poly.

I need them for the V6, I building the shortblock now and I'm way past what I wanted to spend so I was looking for alternatives to the HR mounts. But I only want to do it once so I guess $200 is worth it.

Without a doubt,But to save a few bucks just buy the drivers side,Thats the most imprtant one,But i would buy both

YeaH I'm going to get both, I spent the money to keep the engine together so I better spend the money to keep it in the car!
