I just installed the LT1 MAF & I'm looking for a secure place to mount the translator. I was thinking of mounting it to the plastic fenderwell just behind the washer tank, but i'm not sure if it will be sucure. Any ideas would be helpful. I have been adding parts(rear springs, Hot wire kit, trans mount, 200 4R wake up kit. etc..) to this car and have not heard it run in 2 weeks. Any ideas will be appreciated.

This thread from T6P shows where mine is located. You can't tell too well from the picture, but mine is supported off the fenderwell with some thin (like 20 gauge) sheet metal strips.

I mounted mine to the power steering bracket.
I had to drill a hole.

That's where I was thinking of putting it. Thanks man.

Mine's inside the car, on the back of the glovebox. Hooked all the wires up right there at the ecm. Cleaner than mounting it under the hood IMO.
