Msd Dis-4

Looking to install a new MSD DIS-4 ignition. I remember reading late last year that many cars were having problems with the then current msd ignition. Have changes been made to the now current DIS-4 ignition or are there still problems. Also, where is the best place to mount it. Looking in my engine compartment I can`t seem to find a good location.

oh remove the washer bottle and mount it there on a piece of sheet steel with some rubber insulators

To answer your other question, MSD is working on a new "version" of the DIS. Not exactly sure what all they did but they are working on it.
