Was wondering what mufflers everyone is using on their tr's. Im probly going to run a straight shot 3" with either the dynomax ultraflow or the pitbull muffler. havent seen or heard much about the pitbull though, any thoughts?

Pitbull is ATR. ATR is out of business.

Ultraflows are good mufflers.

I'm running the Hooker catback with AeroChambers, rather quiet IMHO. With the dump closed the turbo "flutters" over 24psi, with it open it'll hit 27psi no problem. Just hooked up my electric cut-out from Mark, that I've had lying around the past two years and that thing is GREAT. Leave your stock exhaust and just get one of those! Quiet in the neighborhoods, loud next to the rice, then with a push of a button quiet again when you're next to the cops!:D I've heard the 3" pitbull and I didn't care for it. A buddy of mine has the torque tech 3" system, but I don't know which mufflers he went with. I thought for the price, I couldn't go wrong with the hooker, as I had always opened the dump at the track.

The 83 I went with louder..Dynomax race bullet mufflers...what drone..I can't hear it over the noise.. The 86 I'll go with the ultraflows

Ultra flows are very good. I now use Race Magnums. Both are straight thru designs which are best for performance, but tend to be somewhat louder. Personaly, it's about performance, so I live with the extra noise. Brian

I would like to try the NEW cherry bomb flow through design. But I have flow masters 40 series with turn downs and a high flow 3 inch cat, I love it!

But if I had extra money I would get these. Just to try em. They were seen at sema this year in vegas, heres a link to it;

Video - SEMA 2006 - StreetFire.net interviews Cherry Bomb about their new flow thru muffler design

and here is the link to the corp. website to seen which style of inlet and outlets you would want for you spec. application;
Cherry Bomb Performance Exhaust I would go either with the vortex or the pro. Vortex probably being most quite and the pro or extrem being the loudest.

please excuse the smoke and overpowered camera...magnaflows are silent at idle, but you step on it and they get loud! But at 70, my 3" single magnaflow is quite confortable...

looks like your in need of a valve job, or maybe a new seal in the turbo:D I like my hooker, nice and quiet, no need for all the noise, but the hooker sounds good when you get on it, aerochamber.
