my first headgasket today

Second pass of the day and she let go.Goes to figure 5 days before I was going to be in Norwalk.HOPE I still can make it with the car.

i feel your pain kevin what kind of gaskets were they? not trying to say one gasket is better than another, just curious

Fel Pro gaskets.

Kevin,You better pull the pan if it Milk shaked to the inside.If it blew out between cylinders by exhaust I wouldnt worry about it.Thats one reason why I went to the stacked steel shims.Also have to yet blow one.The 85 shim gasket .I drill the steam holes out to .25.You can use the kit from Jason Cramer or just use a coppercote or metallic paint.I tore mine down the wednesday before Norwalk 2 years ago and made it.You can do it.Still sorting it out?Did you get a decent pass on it?

It is leaking between the cylinder and the block.Heck no STILL not a good pass yet.I think I'm going to cry.Thanks
