Pics first, I still have a few videos uploading and then I will have to edit the titles. Grab some popcorn, it'll take a while to get through all of this if you watch all the vids. I tried to keep em short, but there is a lot of racing here.

For me this journey started by blowing up my 4.1 about a week and a half before the race. So I built a maypop motor in a day, got in running the next, and DROVE the car up there.

Here's the stuff I brought with me in the trunk. Had the back drag wheels with the wore out MT radials, some tools, and a few other necessities.

Made one pass on Friday night, and my driveshaft jumped out at about 115mph at the end of the track.

That ended my shot to compete, so we put it on the trailer and watched the rest of the event. A huge thanks to my wife who took pics of me and my brother while we were pulling the GN up onto the trailer with a come-along. Lol.

The brother in law gets there on Saturday, we get him tech'd and get ready to spray his car down. Gotta take pics posing by the whip, I guess.

Saw this thing running around. Sounded like a pissed off bumblebee. I guess he was getting ready for Halloween a little early :biggrin: I think when I saw it we had just put my GN on the trailer. I took the camera away from my wife and snapped this right after Jack ripped off a really quick run down the 1/4.

She thinks I was taking a pic of her and the big gulp, little does she know I got the bonus of having an 8 second car pulling through the pits behind her.

Here we are ready to have some fun and watch some Fords get stomped.

Meanwhile, my poor black baby is still sitting in the pits, wishing it could eat on some Mustangs...unfortunately, it looks like it's gonna have to go hungry until next year...
