I pulled off the LT1 MAF on my 95 TA and compared it to the LS1 MAF I got from RC and they are identical??
Measurements are exactly 3.5" OD, and just a hair wider than 2 7/8" at the narrowest point inside.
These measurements are consistant with what I've seen others post for the LS1.
So is the 3" LT1 MAF the ones from the Impala cause it appears that my stock LT1 f-body is the same as the LS1??

The 3.5" F-body LT1 MAF is different from the 3.5" F-body LS1 MAF. It is not the same as the 3" LT1 (Impala) MAF.

It is close to the LS1 MAF, but somewhat leaner. You can run it with the translator but might need to do a little tuning to compensate.

Ok, so there is a 3.5" LT1 MAF? Everyone always refers to the LT1 3" MAF but does not specify LT1 Impala or LT1 f-body, which is what I think of when I hear LT1.
They do have different numbers stamped on the plactic center section, although they are illegible, I can just tell they are not the same numbers.

Around here the term "LT1" is usually used for the 3" Impala SS MAF.

The LS1 MAF works as well as the 3.5" LT1 MAF and costs less, so that is why it is used.
