Need Help! Hot Wire Connection?

Hey I have installed my own hotwire kit for the fuel pump, like it says off of gnttype.org, the only question i got is? Near the fuel pump you have that plug that you can unplug the pump do you connect the new wire after the connection closest to the pump or past the connections closest to the trunk?

You connect the new fat hotwire power wire that actually powers the pump to the wire on the connector that goes over the top of the gas tank and into the pump.

Solid tan wire I believe, not the tan with the white stripe on it.

The other wire goes back into the trunk or towards the front of the car.

If you are cutting the wire off the connector to splice it and not using a plug and play type install make sure you check twice and only have to cut once.
