I have a project here we are working on and we are looking for a LS2 complete long block with 4L80E automatic trans, Harness and ECM and whatever else you may have.

May be willing to trade a full built long block 109 motor & Trans with turbo and everything for the right LS engine.

Let me know what you have and if you have pictures please post those as well.

Thanks Lenny!

What was the 6.0 iron block out of?

How many miles on it?

Any upgrades?

Could you please send me some pictures of the engine and trans and whatever else you may have that can go with it? What I would really like is a Aluminum block!

My e-mail is: sgblhb@charter.net

The engine is out of a Van 3500,Iron block is much more stronger. I have the ECM and 2 Harness from the camaro I cut up the one for the van already. I also junk the intake for the van but I have ls1 intake and one after market intake. I'll try to take some pics later

Mileage?

Odometer read 54,000 it could be 154000, its an 2005 van
Yikes! Not ready to be rebuilding it so I will hold off for now. I really want a Aluminum block LS2! I won't come near the power it will take to break it and another thing, it will be much better on the cars weight distribution.

Anyone with an Aluminum LS2 ???

The cast iron block is absolutely the way you want to go to make good power. If the van said 54k its definately 54k! they do not roll over at 100k.

Ahh I see your from my ol neck of the woods! Born & raised in Milwaukee,WI. My dad has season Packer tickets!!

The Aluminum block is more likely what I will end up going with for the weight distribution mainly. I won't be pushing the power limits of the aluminum block anyways so I don't really have to worry about if the iron block will take more power. The weight distribution means more to me than power for what the car will be used for.
