Need quick advise on MAFT+ mode w/extender

I just need some confirmation on the 4dip mode switches on a MAFT+ v6.22 with a new Extender Extreme chip.

should it be on on OFF OFF. I am sure about #1 and #2. BUT...

I think I need the #3 OFF for the extender. And what about #4. Does it too remain OFF?

If you have an extreme chip the directions will tell you to turn all switches on.
First letter of part number on chip will be E, if it is a B it is a regular extender and the should be on on off off
