i need to find the gasket that goes between the turbo exhaust port and the header, i removed my turbo and the gasket that was on there was tightened way to much (it was copper) and it was bent all up and broken, i went to GM and they said they were discontinued and i also tried Autozone, i was beginning to think that this gasket wasn't stock (is it?) If anyone knows were i could et one of these gaskets fast, it would be much appreciated.

would the turbo leak, if a gasket wasnt used? If i can't find one i might have to try this, thanks

silicone

use a high heat silicone, either copper or orange. make sure the two surfaces are flat.

No, that gasket is not stock and your turbo should not leak without it.

There wasn't a gasket there from the factory, but SCE makes that gasket in copper. Part number is 4172.

call John Craig at Limit Engineering, ATR, Precision Turbo or Cotton.
