I am about to order a twin gauge console pod and already have a boost gauge but can't decide what gauge to put in the other space. I was thinking about either a temp or oil pressure, any ideas or suggestions?:)

I have my boost gauge in the GN in the console pod.

You can't see it while driving, trust me. :p

Gonna be relocated to a cheesy A pillar pod. that don't fit well so I can see it. :)

Down below on salvageV6 I have a voltmeter and a good clock. :D

I would like oil pressure and perhaps oil temp. down there since you can get water temp. and volts from the scanmaster.

Fuel pressure is always good to know too but must be done correctly for an incar gauge.

I can't believe someone hasn't fabricated a nice "replacement" so we don't have to look at the crappy fit or having to deal with 2-sided tape that fails on a hot day!!! I hate mine, but I'm stuck with it until an able person gets moving on it.

If someone makes it for the rice, then it can be made for ours!!

Geesh

The most typical set-up is an oil pressure and water temp gauge. Most put the boost gauge where you can see it while under boost and not having to take your eyes off the road as much. If you have the SM you don't need the water temp gauge like Sal6 said. You can either put a tranny temp gauge or exhaust temp gauge next to an oil pressure gauge. Just my 2 cents.

In my gauge pod (A triple) I'm running Oil pressure at the top, boost in the middle and spark knock at the bottom. In the console is Volts and Coolant temp.

I don't know for sure man. I looked at them again and it would be a close fit, but I doubt it.

These folks have a nice looking A-pillar mount (in my opinion). It replaces the whole trim piece instead of screwing on.

DAMN!!! i wish i knew about that a-pillar peice before i bought mine from atr. that one single peice is very nice looking.

I have Fuel PSI and Boost on my dual a-pillar. My Gauges
the Oil psi, water temp, and volt gauge were already in the car so i had to get the fuel and boost to match. the digital gauges are OK. i like the memory feature and the fact that i can see exactly what my boost and fuel is at. they will remember your highest and lowest value (fuel and Boost).

I can't stress enough how crappy the gauge pod.com pods are. Get ready to dremel and heat gun, they don't fit worth a flying f*ck.  You would be better off to get an autometer pod or somebody elses and make your own. I have one in my GN, when I get the time I will build one to replace it.

The 2 5/8" will not fit. I had to dremel out for VDO 2 1/16" gauges.

Doh....sorry you had to find out the hard way, but thanks for the feedback

I wish I new someone that did custom work on panels....nothing like that in West Michigan....I think

Thanks
