what is the bare minimum needed to get it running, what sensors need to be used, and i have an 87 wiring harness i'm using, what did you do with the fuse panel connection, are you using a separate fuse panel? also, do i use the original wiring for starting the car or does it need to be hooked up to the ecm as well. thanks for any help.

You'll need an engine harness. Of course, some of that can be cut out, but make sure you start with one that's complete so's you dont get frustrated. Here are the two body-side connectors you'll need to be concerned with. You don't need the C-100, just the pinouts for your hookups. The C-437 can be had from any G-Body but it will likely need to be re-pinned (no big deal, just buy the $4.00 tool). Oh, and the ALDL port of course! It should come wired into the C-437. These engines are really easy to swap.
