My setup is kind of complicated and I want to make sure it is correct. The two times I had it out I saw 20-22 PSI even after adjusting so something is screwy.
I have a Racegate and cockpit mounted boost valve from Turbonetics. I hooked it up basically by their directions except for a couple of things I had to change to make tie-ins.
My vacuum port goes directly to the inlet side of the boost valve. The boost sensing side is fed to the downstream side of the valve via a 4 way vacuum block. Off the block one end hooks to the line coming off the boost valve and the other goes to the Racegate boost port. The other two ports coming off the 4 way one goes to the boost gauge and one to the SMC line for on set point.
Is this hooked up okay or should I drill my turbo outlet and put a fitting in it like some of the other turbos and run that to the boost valve rather than the way I have it hooked.
Got nobody around here running one to draw from so if you have one or knowledge of the best way to hook it with all the extras please post. Thanks!
