Theres two extra line fitting holes' one maybe a 5/8 the other 3/8' A total of 6 holes are in the back of the rad tank: lower rad hose' overflow' 2 oil cooler & the two unknown' as it sits in the car & two on the front side for the trans cooler lines. the extra top one goes into the rad. the lower looks like it runs into the oil cooler in the radiator' I dont know if it flows into the oil cooler though? It dont look like it does? Could this be used for a extra coolant cooler. Would it flow? heres the part # on the radiator AC/Delco #88959435' it also has a RV sticker on it. Im looking for someway to maybe use this if I could find out its intended use. If coolant flows against the oil cooler in the tank as I suspect' this could be a good thing for the oil & coolant temp!

Posssibly the two extra lines are for an additional heater. Put some water in it and see where it comes out.

I bought a GM radiator last summer that had the same part#88959435 and on the oil cooler side you could see where there was 2 other fittings at one time but they were blocked off. Also the fittings on the tranny cooler side were too big I had to use adapters to make the tranny lines fit.I also bought a GM radiator the year before for the other Buick part#52481580 and the fittings were correct on that one,2 oil cooler fittings on one side and 2 tranny cooler fittings on the other, all the correct size. I don't think you can use the other fittings on the oil cooler side,I think they go to the same tank that the oil cooler uses.
