I Think There Needs To Be A New Class For All Cars That Are Buicks Or Just Have A Buick Engines In Them.this Is A Bring Whatcha Brung And Hope Ya Brought Enough . 4 Rules.............

1.must Have Valid Plates And Insurance.
2. Must Pass Nhra Safety Insecption
3. Dot Tires Any Size Any Brand.
4. Must Drive 25 Mile Road Trip And Back To The Track.

This Would Be A Very Fast Class Of Cars............v-6 Are Welcome And V-8.

This Would Be Simple Class For Rules + It Would Generate Money For Promoters And The Car Count Would Go Up .more Money To Venders..........
Just A Think About It Would Cost Nothing. Possible Bring Some Really Fast Cars From All Over. 50/50 Pay Back Plus A Trophy For King Of Street ............................... Plus There Is Really A Section On This Board For Hybreds And V-8 Conversion So It Should Fit In .

I would think there would be more racers in support of a class like this.I can think of a handful of cars or more that fit this class .i just like to support the buick community . I guess im stuck racing nmca ..................

I think its a good idea. Especially the 25 mile road trip. that proves the car is a real street car. I like it. I think the TR's would do very very well in this class. Maybe put the city youre representing, and have a little 'city to city' competition in there? so during eliminations, you could have 'the king of detroit, vs., the king of grand rapids'

Up the east coast....South Carolina

No 25.5 cert but I'm good to 7.50 for 2 more years under the old cert.

I'm down for racing at Buick events, most welcome you but there are a few who won't understand what your doing and think any Chevy motor is no where near as good as a Buick Just so happens most of these also don't try to compete in a class where 1400hp is the minimum it takes to qualify.

I guess we could always just call him. I dont see anything like this ever happening at BG tho... Dusty done screwd things up there for all of us...LOL

Like I said, most really loved the car and were glad to have me there. I was suprised how many people there had never seen a drag radial type car and was shocked how fast it went for it's tire size and appearance, and mine's one of the slower radial cars You would shock some with 7 second passes. Too bad a few haters stirred up a stink and went so far as making up lies about me saying and doing things that weren't true to try and make me look bad. I know where it all started at because I have lots of friends at BG who overheard. Some people just don't like me getting more attention than them
