How far can I go on -8 line? I have my new Aeromotive pump mounted, tank sumped, and have -8 feed to the rail. I was told that this is enough for dipping into the 9's at about 3600 raceweight. Any feedback?

You should be able to get inot the low 10's maby high 9's, but I'm not positive. You could always use the old bernoilli equations or just go check out gnttype.org, I think there was an article on there that talks about how fast you can go with which pump and what size line. I know alot of guys taking the stock line into the mid tens and I will be one of them. If you have enough pump you should be good. I am going to go with an -8AN eventually when I get around to it.

I bet a bit farther than high nines. I have known a few cars that ran in the mid 9S with stock lines on double pumpers, although i just installed a cell with a pro-series pump and # 10 line in my car with a 6 return
