New N.O.S. 1987 Buick Grand National Motor for sale. This motor was purchased from Buick Special Projects (Performance Div.) in 1987. It didn't come with the accessory bracket or pulleys these were Ebay items. Also the BRF Trans pictured is not for sale. The complete engine was bought new, I oiled up the cylinders and it has been sitting under my bench in my heated and air conditioned shop. It has never been started or installed in anything ever. I originally planned on installing it in my street rod but never got around to it. As you can see in the pictures it still has all the factory plugs & caps and misc. covers on the inlets, oil hoses, fuel lines etc. from the factory. I'm located in Ray MI if you want to stop by and inspect it. The asking price is $5,000.00 or best offer, NO TIRE KICKERS Please! If you're serious give me a call at 586-260-6884 or e-mail me at scutchfield586@comcast.net....Thanks for looking.

I am interested but you would have to come down a bit. These engines just aren't worth that kind of cash.

I dont think the price is that bad it's technically a BRAND NEW motor, what would it cost to have one rebuilt to factory specs?

I wish I had the extra cash because I could use NOS GN engine. I wouldn't take anything less than 5K.

hold tight on your price

I think you will get it- is there a vin or ser# on that engine?

Brand new:eek: That is alot of cash but thats what I would ask for it. Someone will buy it. I would hold out for the 5 stacks. Pop it on Flea Bay. good luck

He's already had it on e-bay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0619667260&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT

This sale will be going to a collector (a VERY limited number of people) not someone that just happens to want a OE engine in their TR. Just the average "joe" would probably just spend the cash for a stroker 109.

Wow, talk about a gem. Check out those noncracked, unrepaired header manifolds too.:p
