Well can someone help me with my new project? :D I recently bought an 87 gn that is completely stock and have no clue about this machine. Would like to know what mods will be best to learn on, and how to keep it happy on pump gas. I know about small chevys and that is about it. All the help I can get will be appreciated

you just opened a can of worms

wait until the super senior board members get to this thread, so much advice is going to pump your brain until it explodes! I can talk from experience now. First thing, scanmaster 2.1, good luck. :D

I am located in oklahoma. I am excited to learn about the turbo and injection part. I currently have been running an 86 ss monte carlo with a procharged small block  Makes about 625 at the flywheel. Have always liked the gn, and fortunately ran across a great deal. It was wrecked light in the front and was parked along time. Bought for 2000.00 and ready to breathe new life to it.

First, welcome to the world of Turbo Regals! These things are amazing! A year ago I was just like you. All I knew to do was put gas in and press the gas pedal. I am by no means an expert, but I have learned a few things. Most of the guys here are very helpful so listen to what they have to say. Some...well, we will just leave it at that. Please feel free to email me any questions. Again welcome! And yes Scanmaster should be the first thing! Without this you will not be able to do any tuning or troubleshooting. When you ask, the first response is, "What are your scanmaster readings?" So go ahead a get it. Check out the Parts for Sale forum, saw a couple there cheap!
