new turbo

I just installed a te63 I replaced a te44. My question is what boost can I run with alchohol with the new turbo? I was running 27lbs with the 44

I don't know about this.I had my car with a te63,3200 stall,pp heads and 218/218 cam running 7.1 in the 1/8 @100 on 93 and took it to the 1/4 track and was able to run in the 11.2s @121 or so consistently on just 93.Boost was only 16#

Oh and it was summertime here too when I was doing it.Consistently.

This was a while back. I suggest you pm sixgun86gn and ask him if he ran that combo....

You should be able to tune it to run the same boost.

I'd drop two to three pounds of boost with the same settings you had for the 44 and see if you have any KR.

Then work your way back up.

Probably only a 30-40 HP difference between the two at 27psi stock heads.

Dyno. testing with a wideband would be the best way to do it, unless you have a wide band sensor on the car now.
