new valve springs

Hey guys im ready to do the valve springs on my gn has about 90,000 miles is it a good idea to do the valve stem seals also while im there and what timing chain do you guys recommend i was told original gm cause these cars dont carry a big load on the chain also when changing the spings what is the propper procedure

Changing the springs and timing chain are a good idea. The seals can be changed, but not usually needed. You want springs that are stronger than stock. I assume your engine is stock. 90-100 closed and 250-280 open. I would suggest a DRTC. That's all we sell. I can't remember the last time someone ordered a timing chain that wasn't double roller. Many companies sell tools for this. In short; disconnect battery, remove the valve covers, rotate to compression, compress spring, remove locks, and swap springs. Replace the lock and continue to the next one. It's simple to do, but time consuming. Don't forget to order gaskets and get s neoprene front seal with the TC gasket set.
