I've just recently slightly modded the car up with some bolt-ons (Seen in Sig.), experts, what is the next step to get a highly streetable car capable of producing low 11's. I rarely drive the car, and have been mainly using it a 1/4 at a time lately between rain. I've got the bug to go faster and have been thinking about cam, heads, and maybe even more turbo. I would like to have an easy mid 11's car capable of low 11's. What would get me the most bang for the buck on my weekend warrior?

Ported heads are your biggest bang for the buck at this point.

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THAT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE RIGHT NOW. uSE REEL GOOD GAS (C-16) AND TURN THE BOOST UP THO LIKE 27-28 PSI. YOU WILL BE THERE WITH A BOOD 60FT. WITH SOME SLICKS.

Ported stock heads? Or are you guys thinking champions? I like competing in our local strip's street class, so I'm going use et streets this summer. My times are based on 25lbs of squeeze.

I would get the Champion Iron heads. They are good well into the 10's.

If you are only running 110 mph on 25 psi of boost, you need to think about 28" tall tires. If you are running 28" tall tires, you need to think about a more efficent TC.

110 is 19 psi of boost mph.

Heads will allow much lower boost and much higher mph. If you are only running 110 on 25 psi of boost, your car is the poster child for ported heads.

12.0@110 is obviously not locking the converter, unless he is getting 1.1 60ft times. See my sig, I ran 104mph without locking the converter and 111 with it locked and only got .1 sec quicker which put me into the 12's with a 2.0 60ft.

I am using a 26" tire, and with regards to the boost, I'm thinking about turning it down, because times and et's are so close at 23, 24, 25lbs of boost. I just wonder if the combination of the 44 and stock heads are just wasting the extra air?? In some cases I almost wonder if my car is just as strong using 20lbs and Red's 100 chip on the street. Anybody out there with an idea?
