I have good fuel press. 40-43 psi but I think I might have a problem with injectors gettin juice. Does anybody know what the wires on the injectors should show as far as power and if I am not gettin the right power what to check first? :( :confused: ) P.S. I recently checked my chip I disconnected org. wire from batt. then I opened up ecm and removed chip to find out what kind it was and put it back in, reconnect org. wire. car ran fine , could this be a problem why injectors arent firing up now ? I have posted some threads and all the guys here are great thanx fellas I really want to get car back going to enjoy it.

Key on, engine off, should have 12VDC on 1 wire, at each inj. The other will be the wire that the ECM takes to ground, when that particular inj is fired.
A cheap tester is called a "noid lite". You plug it into the harness plug in place of the inj. When the engine is cranked, the lite should blink.
Check the INJ fuse.
Does check engine lite come on when you turn key on?
Is the chip seated?
 
I think engine lite bulb has been removed from other owner's because I havent seen it on before. I think chip is seated but I will check that ant the injector fuse and can you buy a noid lit anywhere in particular?

Check lite working.
While U R in the ecm, check the seating of all the wires in the plug, and be sure there's no corrosion there.
Most good auto parts stores sell noids. [NAPA comes to mind.]
 
thanks I used a test lite and I believe I am not getting ground pulse signal to injectors. and fuses are good ecm and chip are plugged in tight dont know what to check next? CAN ANYBODY HELP? THANX ALOT
 
I don't think a regular test light will light when checking for injector pulse from the ECM unless it's designed for it. The 12v bulb can't turn on and off fast enough to show anything. A noid light is what you need or a graphing multimeter/scope.
