just swapped fuel pumps today and still the pump wont turn on so no i dont know what its is. any ideas before i let an electrician look at it?

maybe

put a VOM on wires at tank. have someone turn on key. should show 10-13v for a brief 2-3 sec if voltage is there. if not, check fuse and then fuel pump relay under the hood. good luck!

did you install walbro kit from racetronix, if you did the wiring is backwards on some models.

checked fuel pump relay and bought a new one when i turn the key they both click and then nothing. i took a multimeter to read voltage and i got voltage on the middle of three wire going to the pump. my sending unit still works. ?????????

Do you have a hot wire?
There are also two fues that can blow.
One for the fuel pump and another that is ign/?

Don't use a meter, you could have 12 volts but no current flow. Use a high quality test lamp for checking your power source. A circuit with high resistance would show 12 volts but would not light a test light because of the low current condition. I would hire a technician not a electrician. :)

As mentioned above, it's the wiring. I too thought I had the wiring correct per the instructions (Racetronix) and it turned out I had to switch the Red and Gray Wire to the pump.

No biggie, I'm a pro dropping the tank. This is my third time doing it.

Before doing all of that. Find the fuel pump prime lead under the hood. Put 12 volt to it.

Are you building fuel pressure or do you hear the pump run?

If not go to the connector at the tank and and check the fuel pump lead. Is there power?

If not check your fuel pump relays, circuits and hotwire kit if you have one.

If you do have power then check the grounds at the tank and even ground the tank. See if pump runs.

Let me know what you find.

This only applies to our G77 kits. G75 is unaffected.
