I just removed my fuel rail to have powdercoated and when I removed the AFPR, the o-ring where the fuel line comes into the bottom is wrecked. Can I just go to Autozone and find another or is this some specialty piece. IMO an o-ring is an o-ring, but I wanted to double check before I spit fuel out everywhere on start up.
TIA

There are a million kinds of o-rings. Materials, dimensions, sealing characteristics, etc. I wouldn't trust a fuel system to something you're likely to dig up at you-name-it.

Your GM dealer will have the proper o-ring for this application.

Thanks Strike, that's what I was looking for.
I'll hit up my local dealer

BB,

I bought that o-ring, plus the smaller o-ring for the fuel rail supply, from my GM dealer some time ago. They came in packages of 4 then, and were $1.48 and $1.40...

:D

Autozone does carry them, you gotta look in the "help" section. Theres a whole package of viton o rings there for fuel systems and ours is in there for both the regulator side and the return side. Its a little more pricier, around $6.

Autozone sells an O ring kit with all the rings for the injectors and the FP reg. Made by GP Sorensen #800-9220 around 8 bucks.
