I posted this in the electronics forum but didnt' get any replies so i'm posting it here.

The other day I took my GN to work and on my way home, after I was pulled over by a sherriffs deputy (got a warning ) I went to start her back up and it would turn over but not start! I was getting fuel so I know that wasn't the problem and I checked all the fuses. I unplugged my Scanmaster and it started right up!

Is it a bad thing to keep your scanmaster hooked up all the time? What would cause a no start like that? Would it be my Scanmaster? Its 2.1 btw.

Anyone ever had this problem? or heard of a problem like this? I haven't reconnected my Scanmaster yet and I'm not planning to until I can get an idea of what happened.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I cannot think of any way a Scanmaster ( or any scan tool) can cause a no start condition
