Oil coming out the dipstick under boost....part 2

Well, finally got the time to do a leakdown check. Here's the results:

#1 cyl.... 6%
#2 cyl....16%
#3 cyl....16%
#4 cyl....6%
#5 cyl....16%
#6 cyl....17%
My best guess is rings. When I put the motor together, I only checked the ring gap on a couple of cylinders. They came out at .020" clearance on the top and bottom rings.

Any other input would be appreciated.

How many miles on the motor and what type of rings? Did you make sure that it was on TDC for each cylinder that you were checking and that the motor was run so it was warm?
 
Hey Mark, The rings are perfect circle .030 over moly rings. I'll be honest, I let the car warm up for about 15 minutes before I drove it, but I put like 10 lbs of boost to it before the night was over. I didn't get real crazy, but its impossible to drive the car with all that potential without playing around a little bit.:D
