I know one of you most of replaced your oil feed line with a steel braided line. If you bought it complete, where did you get it & price?
Or did you make it yourself, if so where did you get your parts & what are the part numbers?

TIA
Jim

I could probably put one together for you. Shoot me an email if you want and I'll see if I could figure up a price.

Ray,
Thanks, I think that I found a company local. If it doesn't work out I'll shoot you a email. Maybe this thread has got a few wanting to email you now.
Thanks ago
Jim

I got mine from a local shop..........the line was about $22 and a couple fitting for like 5 bucks....HTH Nick

Although I havn't tried it myself yet, you might want to try a local high pressure hose shop. Places that sell industrial hose fittings and stuff like that. They will usually make custom hoses like the one we have in a steel braid replacement. It shouldn't be any problem. Just look in the phone book under industrial supplies or hydraulic hoses.
Hope this helps

P.S. Lynux huh?

That's just want I did. Thanks

You're the first person that noticed the Lynux. I use to have a Lynux command code above it for about a year or so.
Had a friend back in 97 help setup a Lynux print server then used it as a firewall for awhile. Wasn't suppose to use it, but we set it up to look like a NT machine on the LAN. They didn't crack it untill after I left and no one run the updates. ;)

Use the same inner dimension of the original tube. If a hose shop makes it for you they will know what the size will be. Also, it must be the same length of the original line since it will basicly follow the same path as the original line. Take a tape mesure and trace it along the hose following all bends and it will give you a pretty accurate length.

reason I asked is cuz my dad said he can get some steel braided line from work and I can get all kinds of fittings where i work so Id like to spend $0 ya know. Just didnt know what size or how long

Good price :D 27" long with all the curves and bends for mine.
Size???? same as a brake line..close as I can come up with right now.

thanks man appreciate it! by the way, the pressure on this line is the same as the oikl pressyure in the motor right? like 40-60psi. Im guessing since I have no gauge yet. Also a slightly bigger line wont hurt anything would it???
