Oil Light Help Please!

Here is the deal. I did a drive train swap from a good running car. The oil light never came on, only at start up like it is supposed to. Now I have installed this drivetrain in another GN and the oil light comes on after about 10 seconds. Starts out real light ...you can barely see it then it starts to light up fully and then it does and it wont go off. I have traced the wires clear into the harness and they are all good till that point. I have wiggled the plug and still no results. It acts like some sort of a ground is bad or something. Any ideas of where to look?

IF you have put a gauge on the car and verified that you have over 5psi. of oil pressure at idle I would get a new oil pressure idiot light sender.

They light up, usually intermittantly before they die completely.

Later on they often start leaking.

Mine did the same thing, I changed the sendor and it went away. I also have an oil gauge, so I knew it was bad.
