I just finished my timing chain/gears-front cover/HV oil pump replacement. I have a question. With the oil pump kit , there are 2 black quater size circular gaskets. I am using the yellow spring in the oil pump. Why do they give you 2 gaskets. Am i supposed to use both or are they different widths to go with the different color springs. Also there was a gray silver dollar size circular gasket that I had no idea where it went. Any ideas?
TIA

By the way I was sure to get the engine indexed to 0* TDC when I replaced the Timing gears. I havn't started the engine yet but I cranked it over with the starter and it sounded fine. (I was scared after reading a few posts, about getting it wrong).

Also on the new H/V front cover I got , the top left cover hole was tapped different from the original cover. It was not metric and the original bolt would not thread. I bought a new non-metric corse thread bolt and was good to go.
