Ongoing project

So after 30 years I rebuilt my engine at RC’s garage over the winter of 2017-2018. Drove the car for 6 months and brought it back in November to have Mike repair and massage the body and paint the car.

I shaved the door handles and trunk lock 20+ years ago. I was going to have functional GNX style fender vents installed when Mike suggested the vents be cut into the fender to stay with the smooth look. If I didn’t like it we’d install new fenders with GNX vents. I checked on the progress at least weekly since November and picked the car up 2 weeks ago. I also had the frame boxed and the bumpers shaved.

Here are some pics from the project and the finished project. Well not quite finished. I’m currently installing the interior.

I hate GNX fenders, I've always thought they were fugly. I like what you did though! Very Nice!

I've had the car at Richard Clark's the past few days. The "shark gills" as many described them were a big hit.
