Original Goodyear tires. Would u use them??

Hey guys. There’s a set of Goodyear tires on eBay. Never used and suppose to be perfect. So they say. But my question would u feel safe to drive on them? Curious. Thanks. Vinny

No. They would be ok for a museum car that isn’t driven but you would not want to drive on them.

Car shows, IE swap them at the show for display then swap before driving home? Yes. Keep on the car and drive all the time? I would not chance it. I'd rather wait until Cooper makes repro's of the OEM tires. It ain't worth t to risk a blow out at speed on 32-33 year old tires. Just my O2's worth.

I'll bet the farm, that the ozone has wreaked havoc w/ them...NO WAY on my car.
Example: We had a set of new Mickey ft runners, stored inside, for yrs. I pitched one to a buddy, while we were moving his shop. He missed it, it hit the bumper on the truck, and cracked in a million places! OZONE!

That’s what I was thinking. Even if I only do local shows. It’s not worth it.
