paging 2QK4U what wire color

hey guys i just finished up the nordskog digital dash install but the fuel gauge is acting wierd can anyone tell me what color is the wire or wires for the fuel sending unit on an 87 gn i have it hooked up to a pink wire but the gauge stop at half tank or on the gauge 50%to 60% any help would be great
