Can somebody post the procedure for an in-car passenger's side motor mount replacement? At least I hope this can be done with the engine in the car. I can never get the search to work on this site and GNTTYPE.org is down again.

Thanks,
Paul

put car on jack stands both sides put block of wood under oilpan and remove three mount bolts remove mount and replace with new one and THEN THE FUN BEGINS trying to line up holes with long bolt because the mounts arent broke in you might have to play around with the jack under pan to line up hole also you might have to drop starter to remove long bolt

Ok, cool, thanks.

The driver's side looks pretty easy. Probably have the same alignment problem though. It's better to replace the driver's side if only doing 1 of the 2, right?

remember driver side a passanger side mounts are different so dont get them mixed up. ;)

mounts

Hi,
I'd replace them as a set. Are you using OE, or Poly? I would undo both long bolts and get a little more clearance.Be careful of the intercooler fan. Good luck with your project!

I'm using an aftermarket replacement for the OE mount. I have both but I'm only going to install the driver's side in an attempt to diagnose a problem. I'll do the passenger's side when our driveway firms up a little
