These are pics of the install of my new GT42-76

I converted my ATR 3 bolt to a 4 bolt. There is some grinding involved and some cutting too...

Down pipe will be built by me. The turbo outlet also has a flanged connector that has to be tigged to the IC pipe. A "V " band clamp holds it together. No hose is used in this connection.

May be more trouble than its worth..

Looks good Louie. I have the 3 inch V-band connection you need but I welded a 3.5 pipe to it for my GT47. I cut that V-band off when I swapped to the 98. You could have it but I don't think it's reusable the way I welded to it.

Dusty,
Thanks for the Offer> I purchased all of the parts ,flanges, V bands ect..Boy that stuff adds up...

Louie,

Looking good, this thing is going to run!!!
Cute Kid too, if my wife and I have a boy his name will be Joshua.

Ted,

I plan to be at Reynolds. Yeah the turbos look very much alike. I wish that my motor looked as nice as Cals though. Its the details that makes it so nice ;)

Russ,

I don't know where Cal gets some of those dress up ideas.

Hey Louie, cut the flange off,and have a small bead welded around the outlet,Back to hose and clamp style. :)

Just a nother way out,If you want to swap turbos around at the track or dyno for testing that band clamp is an issue,Unless you mad an adaptor from a flange to hose for other turbos

Im commited to this project so im going to do the weld on flange. I do have a way around swapping the turbo if i had to.

Len,
The coating waas done by a friend of ours that has begun a coating business in Orlando. He told us it was comparable to jet Hot 2000. Cal would know exactly.
