Can't find a diagram on this. I need to hook up the spark plug wires and don't know what goes where.
What letter goes to which number?
Thanks

A B C (coil pack)
D E F

6 3 (plugs)
5 2
4 1

Thanks for the replies.
After checking the numbers on the coil pack, and assuming that the cylinders are 1, 3, 5 on the driver's side and 2, 4 6 on the passenger side (I didn't know that) -
I think that the bank of cylinders on the driver's side should all go to the front row on the coil pack, and those on the passenger side should go to the back row.

Correct?
Thanks again.

Incorrect.
Jay gave you the right coilpack layout.
Dave gave you the cylinder numbers.
Match 'em up.

Arghhh!
My coil pack numbers are -
(closest to the firewall and reading left to right)
6, 2, 4
3, 5, 1
Is it on backwards?
Maybe I have a 9 second car and don't realize it!!

Sorry if this is a duplicate. Computer went fubar for awhile.
Just triple checked stuff.
The coil pack is labeled (from closest to the firewall)
6, 2, 4
3, 5, 1
The wiring connector is on the driver's side.
The posts closest to the firewall are off to the driver's side.
Those at the front are off to the passenger's side.
If this is backwards, how did it ever run?
Maybe I should make a few passes in reverse?
:)
Many thanks.

The coilpack and module are two seperate piece that are bolted together. The wires from the module are pluged into the coilpack. As long as the wires are hooked up correctly and you have the plug wires on the correct terminals of the coilpack the car should run.

From what you are describing the coilpack is bolted to the module 180 deg off.

I don't see a problem with having it backwards(as long as the wiring connections are correct, and the plug wires are on the correct terminals) , except for looking like an idiot and maby having to deal with all the questions from the buick guys about how does the car run with the wires on wrong.
