If any of you remember the problem I was having at higher rpms/boost/etc. in this thread:http://turbobuick.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=124756&highlight=6SENSE Well, solved the problem! :)
Okay are your ready for this.......... :o :o it was the plug wires. Yes... I said plug wires :o .
I guess that should have been one of the first things I checked, but hey Ive got $75 10mm Magnecors! They better be doing there job, right? So yes, after trying everything I could think of I swapped out the wires for a cheap set I had.
Now what Im thinking is that its probably only one of the magnecors that was causing the problem and the others are probably good (right?). Should I get a replacement for the bad one(s) or should I just grit my teeth and forget about the super-duper expensive wireset and order something else? I spoke to Magnecor a couple of years ago and they told me they would sell single wires if ever needed in whatever length needed. How do I figure out which wire(s) are bad? I was thinking of checking resistance with ohm meter, but is there some sort of rule of thumb or chart somewhere that I can see what #s to look for? I think the lengths would make a difference in the #s........sooo, if anyone has any info or advice please let me know. Thanks.

P.S. I did have some issues with the WG, such as the stripped bolt holes in the compressor housing. Also, while testing with mityvac saw that the WG I was using wouldnt hold pressure when applied. It would slowly bleed down. Tested two others and they held pressure rock solid with no problem.
