I'm putting my GN1s and intake on in a few days, and I would really like to use some nice looking fasteners when I button this thing up. Stuff like intake bolts, water pump and front cover hardware, coilpack bracket bolts, things like that.. Does anyone make a kit with some nice ARP-style polished stainless hex or 12-point hardware to use? The ARP kits look gorgeous for the chevys, I sell them every day at work, but they dont make any metric fasteners. Any suggestions on this one would be appreciated, otherwise it's off to my local hardware store to buy some inferior metric stainless hardware and get out the dremel and start polishing (UGH!)

Thanks

Look in your phone book for the local fastner supplier in your area. He should carry allen head or the 12 point ones you need.

I would also suggest a local supplier. I actually sand blasted, zinc plated, and hand polished all my body bolts, they came out beautiful but very time consuming

Also check on eBay. I dont have any item numbers or seller ID for him but there is a guy selling stainless hardware for everything. I dont recall seeing the metric hardware in his kits but he does have the front cover and intake bolts. Do your search using 231 or Buick or 455 as your keyword. Eric Fisher

I emailed that company and this is the answer they gave me:

"We offer fastener kits for the Buick V-6 in (5) different bolt styles and have an accessory kit for the Turbo V-6 exhaust. You can order a catalog on-line or call us at 800-767-4781 8 to 5 EST M-F, thanks - Doc."

Sounds good!

You should ask them about a group purchase here on TB. I would take a set if reasonable.
